It’s time to raise money and help the St. Baldrick’s Foundation conquer kid’s cancer. Last year was a big success with two Waukegan teams at different events raising $6,900 combined. This year we have an event that is being held in our city, and if we all join together on one team we could raise a lot more for a great organization. I have set up a team for March 21st, 2010 (B-shift) at Green Town Tavern. If you feel like shaving your head and raising a little money for a good cause sign up for the team. Last year we had 19 people from the fire department sign up, hopefully this year we can get more involved and beat our goal of $10,000.

The rest is very easy to figure out. You need to register online before shaving your head at the event so they know how many people are participating. Once you register try to raise some money, the easiest way is to have people donate online. They can go to stbaldricks.org and search for your name to donate. If you don’t feel like shaving your head, or don’t have any hair you can follow this link to donate money.
